# Marketplace

### Marketplace

The Marketplace lets players trade game resources with other players using in-game TIPS. It unlocks at level 2; some actions and daily listing limits also depend on your account's Trust Tier.

A sell listing offers your item at a price per unit. A buy offer asks for an item at a price per unit and reserves the TIPS needed to pay for it.

### Buy and sell

Open an item to compare active listings, buy offers and recent trades. Check the resource, quantity, price per unit and total before confirming.

You can buy from a listing, create your own sell listing, place a buy offer or accept a buy offer if your access allows it. Listed goods and reserved offer funds are committed to that order until it is filled or cancelled.

You cannot fill your own order. A listed amount or offer can change when another player trades, so the final confirmation may ask you to refresh.

### Fees and history

Marketplace trades charge a fee against the seller's proceeds. The game shows the fee and the amount you will receive. Active VIP halves the seller fee.

Your dashboard shows open listings, open buy offers and completed trade history. Gross price and net TIPS proceeds differ when a seller fee applies.

An item's reference price is information for comparison. It is not a guaranteed market price or a cash-out promise. Check available orders before making a trade.

Marketplace trade count and volume are not scored directly in the airdrop ranking. Your current available TIPS balance is one of its factors, so making an offer that reserves funds or spending TIPS may change that balance when the rankings next update.
